Vudoo connect is an app that can be integrated within the Vudoo platform and your Salesforce CRM. This integration enables you to create Vudoo/Salesforce forms that use your Salesforce field objects from your Salesforce Leads Object list.
Here’s how you do it:
Configuring Salesforce to connect to Vudoo
Log into your Salesforce CRM (the following instructions apply to Salesforce Lightning, but should be similar for Salesforce Classic).
Click the setup icon on the top right of the screen and then click "Setup". This opens your setup dashboard in a new browser tab.
In the navigation bar to your left, select “Apps” and then “App Manager”. In the content window at the top right, select the “New Connected App”.
Configure your new connected app for Vudoo with the following values:
Connected App Name: Vudoo Connect
API Name: Vudoo_connect
Contact Email: admin@vudoo.com
Description: Connect Vudoo to your Salesforce CRM instance.
Enable OAuth Settings: checked
Enable for Device Flow: checked
Callback URL: https://vudoo.io/oauth/salesforce
Selected OAuth scopes: add the below permission scopes
Access the identity URL service (id, profile, email, address, phone)
Manage user data via APIs (api)
Manage user data via Web browsers (web)
Perform requests at any time (refresh_token, offline_access)
TIP: All other fields are left blank
Once you have finished filling in the fields, select “Save” to finalise in your app.
Get your Salesforce consumer key and secret
Now that Vudoo is a connected app within your Salesforce CRM, we will need to gather your Salesforce Consumer Key and Consumer Secret to later integrate into Vudoo.
Can’t find your consumer keys? It’s a quick 3 step process.
Firstly, go back to the navigation bar on the left and click on “Apps” and then “App Manager”.
Select “Vudoo Connect”, click on the down arrow in the right hand side, then click “View”.
Click "Manage Consumer Details"
You can now see your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret, which we'll need to add to Vudoo.
TIP: Keep this view open, as we will need it for the next steps.
Configuring Vudoo to integrate with Salesforce
To integrate Salesforce CRM into your Vudoo Account:
Log in to your Vudoo account.
Click on the dashboard that you’d like to connect your Salesforce CRM to.
Once you’re in your dashboard, click on the drop down arrow next to your name at the top of the screen and then select “Integration”.
TIP: If you can not see this, contact your Vudoo admin to enable this view for you.
In your integrations management screen, you will the Salesforce tab, click on the “Add Integration” in the Salesforce tab.
This is where you enter your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret. Copy and paste these keys and then select “Add Integration”.
Now that this step is completed, you are all finished creating the integration. You will now have the ability to add in a Vudoo Salesforce overlay within your video.
